Bars across rear window, removable??

Hey all,
A 1200 ute im loooking at buying has the stocko bars which run down the rear window, are these easily removable? Would they leave holes if i took them off? Cheers, Mike.

Yes they are held in with screws and they will leave holes if removed. just get them chromed and add some shine

unscrew them and then put the screws back in

Or buy a Sedan
 The bars are there to stop your load crashing through the window under heavy braking. Chroming them is a good idea. But if you never plan to use the rear of the Ute, then I guess removing them is ok.
