Are the aussy. stanza's rear wheel drive or front wheel drive ? The reason I'm asking is cause the north american stanza is front wheel drive .

Yes. The aussie "Datsun Stanza" is Nissan chassis A10. The North american "Datsun 510" is HL510 (1978-1982). They are almost the same chassis, but different locally sourced parts apparently. Different enough to get a different chassis number however.

I thought so. Looking at some of the models you have over there are similar to ones we have over here but different all together at the same time.The only difference I've seen in the 1200 though is that there is a L/R hand drives.We need to do a comparison in here what north american models are equivalant to over there.
