Harry, Did they tell you that it is the short track only this weekend?

Long track is on the 4th Dec & cost is a little higher.

Just thought I would let you know in case you went there thinking you were doing the long track.

yeah Bob told me it was the original short circuit. I really like that little track - the section at the crest of the hill with the esses and braking area for the hairpin is awesome. It will be a good chance to compare times with the 1200 on what is definitely a handling circuit...

IF any one was going to Morgan park on Saturday .. The track day has been cancelled due to a Hole in the track surface .. they had about 28 comming so if you know of any one that was going can you let then Know .. Cheers Cameron

hmmm, if only the club had called or messaged me before 8:00 last night when I left...

I can think of better ways to spend $80 on fuel than to go for a leisurely 2.5hr drive to warwick, sleep in the back of the truck, then turn around for a 3hr drive home the next morning.

A hole in the track surface? I find that hard to believe. Bitumen doesn't normally break up without cars running over it, so presumably they would have known at the end of the last meeting - not the night before this one! And if there was a hole, couldn't we have just used one of the 3 other track configurations there instead??? There's one that uses none of the circuit you guys were apparently planning to use.

I've just got home and unloaded the trailer. I still have to go and change the race tyres back off the Skyline and unload the crap from the back of the truck. What a waste of a Friday night and Saturday. Not to mention money...
