flow extractor timing?

Does anyone no if i have 2 advance the timing since i put flow extractor pipes on? Just a standard A12 other than that though

You should advance it a little anyway.What timing does it have now ?

you don't need to advance the timing because of the extracrot, but you may find that you can advance it more, but still advance it till it pings slightly when in to it hard. then back the timing off slightly. the final factor is the octane of your fuel.

i have just put it about 10 degrees advanced and its running sweet, but has a wee flat spot when you put your foot down. iv checked everything in the carb(float level,jets etc) and its all alrite?

Is it a stock carb or a 32/36 ?It's really hard to get rid of the flat spot on these things.(the webers)
