what diff come in the C20 van's?

I have found a C20 van for sale for $200 and am hoping it has a H165 if so can someone confirm so I can celebrate?

have fitted one before to a coupe, it was a little wide. even with frony wheel drive offset rim the tyre just hung out the guards.

I believe they come equiped with the H190 with the most common ratio being like a 3.2 or something like that

I have a C20 in my coupe and they are a tad wide. You may have to hunt for correct offset wheels/ or flares - but it is not an impossible fix. Spring mounts will have to be relocated also
 Good news is it will be an H165 and probably a 4.875 : 1Good luck! Cheers

I was hoping to do a straight swap over with the whole diff assembly, but I will have to find the right wheels first, what offset would I need to fit the wheels to the diff?

i think the diff i have lying around came out of a C20. I'm pretty sure its an h165 as it has 8 nuts/bolts?? and it seems way too wide. you may also need to move the shock mounts?????

Dodgeman you are right as usual ......
C20 Vanette - A series - H165 (4.875:1) Vanette - bigger brother  - H190 (alloy 4.6:1)Thats what I have got anyway .... Point to note - H190 stated above has 23 spline axles same as H165. Cheers
