1200 tacho wiring

On the back of the tacho on the 1200 dash there are 2 black/white wires. What are they and where do the hook up to please? There is also a yellow/red wire that I am unsure about too.
Any help would be greatfully appreciated. Thanks.

the black and white go to the balister resitor. the red is power i think and im not too sure about the yellow but it might be the earth or the light
