#1 A12 and A15 intake manifolds
dats-me Posted on: 2007/9/18 5:40
Does anyone know if the A12 and A15 intake manifolds are the same? Is the A15 manifold bigger? I doubt they are but in hoping they are the same.
Any info would be great and if anyone has an A15 intake manifold i might want to buy it of you.

If you are talking about the original 1200 A12 and the later model A15 - no, they are not the same. They are similar but there are two differences. First the mounting stud arrangement is different, and second (depending on your head) the shape of the inlet ports is going to be different.

If you are talking about the post-1974 A12A and the A15, they may well be the same.

I have a later model B210 (120Y) A14 head where the ports are the right shape and size as well as located in the right place but the studs are still different.

The ports on the A15 manifold are definitely bigger and oval shaped rather than round shaped in the A12....

The valves are bigger too on the A15.
