#1 ute canopies?
Wurzel Posted on: 2008/1/3 5:53
Was wondering if anyone here has a canopy for thier ute that doesnt range from looking ridiculous to hideous when attatched.(I have yet to see one myself)
Pics/drawings/scribbles would be great if anyone has or has seen any good ideas that actually compliment the 1200 ute.

that fasback type bottom one is interesting but its still kinda proving my point as i reckon most of them look kinda crappy or at least change the entire appearence of the ute for the worse.
Wondering if anyone has done a more streamlined panel van type conversion or something...might look good... might not!

i reckon that if it was done right a ute could look alright with a canopy as long as it stayed inside the lines of the car. just print off a picture of a ute and trace the outline and add the canopy that you want to see if it would look any good.
post pictures if you get around to it.

If you wanted to make it a meatwagon, then it will be a costly exercise, but I agree, it would look good. Kinda like a mini panelvan.

Putting a canvas canopy won't achive the look you want I dont think, and even then a steel frame and a canvas cover made will cost around $1000 for a complete job. Canvas covers are purely functional items, and not for good looks.
