Umm i wouldnt be touching it buddy!

You must have your LPG ticket to do anything to do with LPG work. Because if the LPG leaks/explodes etc and they find out that you have been playing around with it without a ticket, no insurance company will touch you!

I do know how to do it and it is nothing like what has been described here.

Most auto leccys do LPG. try another one or a LPG specialest place. its a pretty simple job putting in a standard LPG guage.

lpg tanks usally work of a float mechanisam just like ur standed petrol tank so i guess who u where talking too were thinking or some sort of pressure sender.u should be able to get a gauge to match the sender already in the tank try ashdowns or ingrams if urve got em where u are. u'll probley need to measure the ohms resistence of ur tank sender when at full and empty.

Yes you do need your lpg ticket for work on the high pressure side of lpg. u can work on the low pressure side with out one and i think u may be able to work on the electric's without one but not sure on that one mabey someone with there ticket can clear this up, beattie do u have a ticket or know if u can work on the electrics??

I dont have my ticket but my boss does. I helped convert his old Rodeo ute. I think you can do most of the work but it has to be checked over afterwords or something by a ticket holder. Ill ask tomorro at work.

for some reason not all states have tickets, just an additional cournse, other states mean you have to accredited seperately etc.

either way i wouldnt touch it either, take it back where the install was done and get thenm to do it, some tanks need specific guages.
