isn't wheelbase the distance between the front and rear wheels? my utes got 205's on the back with no mods but i'm not sure about the widest that will fit.

you could just squeeze 225s under the back with the right offsets and slightly rolled guards, if you pump/flare the guards, minitub it and move the leaf springs you could fit some bigger rubber.

ive seen 9's all round on 1200's before, although they were running very low offsets and rolled gaurds/flares. I think a lot of people underestimate the amount of wheel you can get under a 12. Depends what you want i guess.

Sedan can only fit 205 width in the back, with rolling the guards.
Perhaps utes have more room?

The distance between wheel to wheel is the wheel track. My 1000 ute has 225's on the back, they don't rub but i do have the bolt on flares.
