#1 New toy arriving soon
Weekend1000 Posted on: 2008/7/10 15:06
Maybe I am crazy but the appeal of a tidy 1000 coupe got the better of me so I grabbed the one for sale in Canberra. Its costing the same to transport to Perth as it did to buy but how many 1000 coupes do you see for sale?
I was surprised how little interest there was--perhaps Canberra is not the best place to sell.
A tip for others wanting to transport cars interstate--------- they say no loose articles and they MEAN IT. In my case , some of the interior trim and badges were not attatched so the seller put them in the "boot". Not acceptable to the transport police so now I have to fork out for postage or courier for original parts of the car, just because they were not screwed in place. On the upside the car carrying people say its pretty tidy and I should be happy with it
Looking forward to seeing it in a week or so!

Reuby, Its not D its W for Wendy ( original owner's name) and I have no immediate plans as it is running nicely with its weber.
Bought the coupe sight unseen so its roll the dice and wait and see.
See you on the cruise to Dwellingup
