Yeah i like the simple engine. Electronic dizzy and a decent coil is about as flash as i wanna go electronically. Just dont know about the big weight difference in the front end. Did you replace the trans tunnel ?

Sweet mate. great when things pop up for free or next to nothing. Especially these days considering how rare things are getting. Tossing up whether to do the conversion to me coupe Or keep looking around for a good sedan shell. May finish the work on the coupe and sell it to fund a L18 sedan. Would love both but cant be to greedy.

They are basically the same weight without accesories.

There is approx 15kg more engine and 5kg more gearbox in the car with the l-series v a-series, if you were to move battery to the rear and put a H165 under the rear end weight evens out pretty quickly. If you look at the amount of crap that gets crammed in a 1200 engine bay when doing a CA or Sr swap no wonder they can upset handling.

Both my sedans are using manual tunnel without cutting firewall/rad support etc.

L-series for the win!!

Awesome man. This is getting closer by the day. My coupe is running Bluebird struts and a big HQ radiator that should be enough to pull it up and keep it cool Ay ?. The front discs wont allow anything smaller than 14's so i imagine there Bluebird as well
