hi guys
ive got a manual for s13 ca det (its in english and i suspect its for europe) but the boost control solenoid is not mentioned or the butterfly valve stuff.
i have 2 harnesses (1 NA man and 1 turbo auto) and cant find the connector for the prcvs.
Q1: does anyone have a jdm shop manual or wiring diagram or a link to one
Q2: do they run both prcvs and boost control on jdm
Q3: what pulse is the ecu looking for from the speedo? , can i just run speed sensor direct to ecu or does speedo process signal

a lot of the wire colors and positions are not as per manual
also need an ECU if anyone has one

This ought to help with secondary butterfly, and boost solenoid vacuum piping.

Dazza, have got the info you need but it's with the car in my workshop. Butterfy valve solenoid are brown and grey wires. On is on power and the other is from ecu. Cant recall which one is what without checking my notes.

Also have europe manual and it is a bit of a pain.

Perth Ute (Jordy) mentioned 6 months ago he had a spare ecu???

As for speedo let me know if you find out before me. Hopefully I will resolve this soon as currently my ecu has no speed sensor input.

coz i just used the stock speedo line into the side of the gearbox

crzy1200 ute wat box u running? has the s13 box isnt cable drive , or you running the stumpy ?

im happy to say dazza took every last bit of my ca18det colection

oh yeh im using a stumpy, but even the s13 geabox i took off my ca had speedo drive,

and my mate has a sr20 black top in his bluebird wagon and all he did was take out the electric speedo and pulled bluebird gearbox speedo and put it in the sr20 gearbox and it works fine,

ive gutted the butterflys out of the intake and welded the holes up so no probs there.
the prob with the vehicle speed sensor is when you are rolling to a stop with throttle shut motor can cut out or idle badly. want to prevent problem before it starts.
yeah jordy gives everything away or bins it before checking with me! bloody kids eh!
another question, do all turbos have injector dropping resistors and can you just use high impedance injectors instead?
spent 3 hours w/ multimeter on sun (in addition to 3-4 hours last week) and just about have this wiring by the balls
