Datsun b10 custom based kit car

Well Ive always thought the Flying Feather had potential so I got thinking it would be nice to make one from scratch but based on b10 running gear and a bamboo resin fibre body. Heres my photochop of a possible look now that I have time and Happy New 09 fellas! I present you the Flying Fish.
P.s It might not appeal to ricers or modern cars lovers that mainly dine on Maccas or KFC but those tasteless Post-Pop kids can go elsewhere.

I don't mind that D,seeing a mix of TR6,Clubman and Herald, geez mate you must have been bored on NY day.
Now we just need some one to Cad Cam it and you can start building, but i reckon i'd wrap it in glass and carbon though.

Thanx fellas Im not into the tarp roof either and the window frames could be made better or non existent with the right design rollcage.
eg. side roll hoops could support the windscreen and a roller door style roof (of bamboo of course!). If you are wondering why bamboo instead of Carbon fibre its because scientific tests show bamboo composites are 10 times stronger than fibreglass and as flexible as kevlar in most directions. Also it would be nice to aim for a quirky application of sustainable materials rather than just stereotype modern looking plastic finishes. There are better wheels available but couldnt find one with a tyre to super-impose. Ill be happy see someone else who is bored on NY to mock up a rendered version. Tnpshow? ![]() ![]() Imagine the rear vents (bigger than original of course) revealing the rear tires to confused drivers behind it trying to work out what the hell it is.
