#1 bonnet release relocation.

i broke my bonnet release under my dash and instead of replacing the cable i was wondering if anyone had ever made a push button mechanism such as a boot or fuel filler release?

or maybe just relocating it to a stealth location somewhere else?

i used a vs commodore boot release solenoid, momentary on switch. mounted the unit under the radiator support and hooked it to the catch, ran a power wire to the switch then to the solenoid, and away it went.. cost me 10 bucks for the unit, few bucks for the switch and bracket so well under $30

I kept snapping cables on the 1000 so i just got a bit of welding rod and put it on the release leaver, though behind the grill then to a eye just above the headlight... I copied somebody.
