Here is my "Project Daily" 120y from the day i Brought it to where it is today, its nearly there - just motor rebuild and interior to go. just putting it back together after the panel and Paint.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Heres bit of an update. ![]() ![]() As most of you would hav seen/heard i gave the track day a go at Taupo. needs new rear shock (lifting front wheel off the ground) and more power (only hit 120kph down straight) Ive now sorted the problem with a CA18DE recently purchased with box loom and comp, should be up and running in a few months. Pics up soon. Hey guys slight update. All mounted up - wiring, exhaust and driveshaft to go. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And no that not a Maddat fitting kit, bitta home made, thanks to dad and the neighbour - and a couple of boxes of piss - chur ![]() ![]() ![]() Engine conversion finished - had it all certed etc for labour weekend Datto Cruz in Taupo. Just the interior to tidy up now. Goes awesome (Tryed G-Tech and did a 16.7 with shit launch at 85mph). And is even more economical than the A15 that was in it. It has basically doubled the power from 69hp @ Engine to 145 @ Engine. Diff - dont know how long it will last.

Does anyone know what swaybar would fit (bigger) out of another datsun - like the old 120y swaybar into 1200.

Sorry, no help on swaybar. Though one is probably available from most parts suppliers new if you can't find one.
Other than that the y looks good. Nice neat install on the CA.

No real hassles, just finding a clutch master cylinder that didnt hit the engine ( MK1 Cortina 1 in the end ).
Was panelled and painted at mates rates by Pros but i did all the prep work in between. If you wana know more about it ill post up link to our datto site Cheers Brock You can view topic.
