Hi
As I have sold my morris minor that was going to be the recipient for this engine. (well that and financial hardship and change of living arrangements) I am regretably forced to do something against my better judgement. up for sale is my A15 engine . this engine was bought as a low kilometre import from japan by a friend who had it in his b10 which was sold to me. the car went but I kept the engine because it was too good to let go. seriously this engine ran like a singer sewing machine you could just barely hear it at tickover. it is like new under the tappet cover. and always been run on penrite hpr30 in my care. I replaced the original dodgy weber 32/36 with a brand spanking new on in about 2002 at the cost of $375 (still have the receipt). the engine was only test run a few times with this carby. also included is a E15 electronic distributor and coil (converted to the A series drive cog of course) there is no exhaust manifold or extractors as they were sold to another forum member for their project. (I taped up the exhaust ports though not to worry) I repainted the engine in chrysler blue just before it was removed from the car so it doesnt look half bad either. I am asking $1000 ono for starters, though make me an offer I can only say not enough :) I dont want to separate the engine and carby really either unless I come up with another use for it in the time being.
