I'm planning on going.
My car wasn't ready last year, won't be ready this year and I don't care. I'm still driving down. I hope nothing falls off on the way.
When are you planning to drive down DD?

It's a Datsun 1200. It'll make it.
I'm taking my 1200 pickup. I've already registered.

I'll be making the trip over from Miami, but won't be in any Datsun... Unless someone knows a sick rental car place that holds down a 510 in the back! lol

Looking foward to seeing some of the best old school cars in the country.

It should be a cool event but of course I have a conflict again this year, my son has a cross country meet on the 3rd.

Me and silvia-240 are leaving Thursday morning from Vancouver USA.

Just getting the 1200 ready. And I noticed late this afternoon, the water pump is leaking!

I'm replacing the water pump now (Monday night). Wouldn't you know it, my spare pump is a different length, and the stores are now closed...

I'm leaving in two nights!

The Sunny Truck is ready to go! 24 hours from now I'll be on the Interstate freeway.

It's a 20 hour drive from Seattle To LA, not counting stops. I have 2 days + to get there... so I should make it...

Wow. This is one of greatest car shows in america. Lots of japanese iron. 90 degree weather. Ten sunnys showed along with all sorts of Datsun, skylines galore, vintage honda microcars, rotary, celica, everything.

silvia-spec240 got 2nd place for his Datsun 1000 2-dr sedan.

Duncan got 1st place, 1200 class for his Datsun 1200 GTR.

I got 2nd place, 1200 class for the Datsun 1200 Sunny Truck.

Now, only 1,081 miles back home!
