hi all, well the a15 will be coming out before the end of summer (maybe sooner) and wondering if there are any persons on the look out for one in the near future.

(you can pm me if you like so not to advertise your interest publicly if your worried about that kind of thing).

Im selling my current set up from fan to gear box complete (except su manifold and su's, alternator and possibly electric dizzy unless you want to pay for it too, can supply a point one for you).

So it will just about a bolt in proposition for you.

currently im unsure of its exact spec but was built at datsun performance center or what ever it was call in mordialloc about 6 years ago. i estimate its done about 50,000kms. I bought it with only 30000km and havent driven it really that much.

has a 80/40 cam in it (bit big for su's really)
and some other work done(im not 1005 sure of).

the clutch is a hd a15 vanette daikin unit and just a 56a 4 speed gearbox on the end(was rebuilt about 6 years ago by previous owner- never had an issue with it behind my a15- EVER!)

I will include the engine mounts for an early x member too for it.

Looks like an a15, or a12 even, we all know what a series look like but heres a pic:

and heres the most recent power dyno reading, some more tuning has gone into it since then to try and get rid of the 4000rpm flat spot on lpg(and has on gas currently almost got rid of it but as stated the cam is a bit big for lpg set up currently)

Im not offering a warranty on it so dont cry if things go wrong, id ersonally take the head off and maybe even just re ring the pistons to make sure it lives a long life.
It is used (not much abuse either- i dont do burnouts or doughies etc). has pulled low 17's on the 1/4 mile at Heathcote with badly tuned su's on petrol. Feels slightly quicker on straight gas.

Its in melbourne and looking for $700 ono.

If it doesnt sell will just store it for future project im sure will come up one day in the future.

ok back on the market for slae- engine is out of car and im picking it up on weds- if there is a buyer i can drop off weds night or by week end cause it will be on the trailer still til then, it ran fine after the recent issues with it, replace water pump and thermostat, ran the best it had ever run over the last weekend.

On the freeway the cooling system towing 250 additonal kg in a trailer and car even dipped into temps on the guage of 165 ish farenheight. it was 23deg outside ambient. even idleing was at 175deg. so all back to a grade, id still re ring it while its out though, just for peace of mind.
