hey
got no idea what year model my 1200 ute is!

doesnt have a vin number so guessing before '80 so somewhere between 71-80?

it has a chassis number b120-240444?

no 1200s in oz had vins and they were made here till 84 i think

it should have a build plate on it that says the year it was made rivetted or screwed to the top of the firewall

i cant give you an exact yeah, but your only 23,000 from my ute. mine is 263,### and its an 82 modle, so you could be looking at 79 - 80..

your best to go to your local RTA and do a check on the chassis no#

PIGDOG:dont think it has a build plate either the bloke that painted it (who i bought it off) has completely stripped everything off for paint im guessing including this.

wetdriftwarrior: cheers ill just claim it as an 80 until i get it checked out at the rta

mine is 262115 built on 3/81
i reckon yours would be closer to a mid 70's

Mine is 06/81 and 262453....
Would you believe I picked up the remains of a butchered ute 7 years later and its number is 262450. There was one little ute between them when they arrived in Aust.... It was sad reuninion tho, only to have a brother donate a few vital organs before going to the big datto heaven in the sky...
