#1 Looking for part numbers
Tucson12 Posted on: 2009/10/23 16:29
Hi all,
I'm looking for a couple part numbers that I don't see in the wiki. I don't have a parts list yet, looking for one for a 73 if anyone has a source. The numbers I am looking for are: (all for a 73 US market coupe, left hand drive)

Dash pad
Glove box liner
Dash fascia or bezel (the part that covers the gauges)
Front grille emblem
rear center emblem

Thanks for any help

Kelly

Dashpad and glovebox inner were available last year.
"Out of stock" is de rigour for 1200 parts -- it means thay can be ordered.
The emblem parts have been NLA for years.

I bought a glovebox inner, it is brand new from Nissan. Will sell for $60 which includes shipping. The PN above says $13.45, but I paid something like $50 for it from Nissan (not including shipping).

Thanks guys,

I am attempting to order a dash and glovebox. They are backordered with Nissan with no ETA. Better than the rear bumper I tried to order that is NLA, but don't know if it will come through or I'm just being overly optimistic. I will try to be patient for a while but I might take you up on the glove box at some point.

What is the best way to find part numbers? What do you guys use? I watch for parts lists on feabay.

I know what you mean. Tried to order a rear bumper for my coupe at the local dealer, he claimed to do a national search. NLA. Ordered on nissanpartscheap.com and they said NLA now trying nissanparts.cc from ang94541 here. The site just says pending. Trying the dash and glove box on nissanpartscheap and they say backordered. Not holding my breath but will wait and see.

Kelly,
If they are back order through Nissan, you will get the eventually( well....).
I had a carb on order, took about three months. Same with a hood and strut inserts.
Occasionaly I go to the local Nissan dealer and look up my own parts, I'll PM ya next time I go.

I have the factory Datsun 1200 parts catalog, 1974 edition. Sometimes you see them on eBay. It is very large like 12x17 inches, bigger than A3 or A14 paper size.
