ive tried heaps and have found that none fit well without comprimising room, with the exception of fixed race seats if you like to
fall into and climb out of your car each time. ive stuck with the originals so far, but the ones ive heard which are a good fit are
mazda mx5 seats. yet to try them though..

good luck.

The fixed back race seats are good, but as said they can be a bit of a pain gettin into and out of. Because of the solid sides on the seats

There is a ute on carsales with MX5 if you want to see how they look. As mentioned CRX fit pretty good along with swift GTI seats and Evo 3 Recaros. I've seen WRX seats in utes but they look super cramped and look oversized in the cabin. IDTIGR had 300ZX which seemed to fit fairly well also.

Ive got serries six rx7 seats for my 1000 coupe. They fit ok so im sure they would go well in 1200 ute. Not the easiest to adapt but should be ok. See how I go
