I went in to rare spares today to order my rubber kit for my kb10 (1000 coupe). I had previously asked them over the phone for a rear screen rubber or a if they could get one made and I always got a big no. Today when I turned up with cash it was a different story.

The guy told me he had a contact that could make about 90% of rubbers. He rang him and apparntely he has the pattern and can make them, $250. Ive ordered one but im not getting my hopes up as it seemed a very confused conversation as to wheather it was a 2 door sedan or coupe and even a mix up with front and back.

I was thinking if anybody wanted one, I could wait until mine turns up and see if its correct. If so I could put in a bulk order pick them up and send them out or at the least you guys would know where to go and deal with them on your own.

was that just one rubber??

Gav, I gave up on rare spares when they told me that all 1200's are the same kit!

I know its not cheap but its the first ive found and I have been looking for a while. I guess the guy is making a one off. If its correct and fits in nice I dnt mind paying.
With the kits I did get that feeling that its not quite right but I did cross reference with spectrum and it seems to be ok.

Kit was $520 but no rear screen or rear windows, can get rear windows from spectrum.
Rear screen $220 plus frieght

there are two places over her in perth that i know of that i can get a rear windscreen rubber from... pay day will be soon wooot.. if i remember correctly the were like 175 but dont quote me lol

whats in the kit do you know?

rare spares rubbers are very last resort from my experience.

Gday Guys that bloke on EBAY flogging window rubbers has, anyone had any dealing and are they worth the $$$$$.
