#1 Brake booster
geoffbuckrodgers Posted on: 2000/2/29 6:54
I have a stock standard 1200 ute and I wish to put a brake booster in so the wife can drive it. I would like some advice on what
to use. Thanks

Do as I sort of have:

75-78ish Mitsubishi Lancer (RWD) Booster and Master Cylinder, also grab brake splitter unit below master cylinder. Use 120Y
front struts and brakes.

Easy as Pie.

Chris.

#3 hydraulic clutch

Does anyone know if it's possible to fit a hydraulic clutch to a 1200? Some of the hydraulic clutches I've seen in other cars have a huge tank which attaches to
the firewall...looks difficult to fit!

thanks,

justin

a brake mater cylinder

Justin I have one fitted to my coupe they are a real pain to get in and work properly.Mine is right next to brake Master cylinder I used a PBR Trailer master cylinder around $30-$40 had
to drill a 35mm hole inline with brake master clinder as close as possible and take clutch pedal out to make attachment for plunger rod. took a while but it works fine now. Let me know if
you want more detail I tthink I have some pics I can send .
