Is that just so u can run a sr20 throttle body? A few mm will make fuk all diff. Keep it simple mate, Frankenstein=failure

Go for it if it fits. If u can keep all the stuff from ca then ure better off doin that as u will have a #OOPS# of a time diagnosing problems. Tps is a vital part of the ecu ;)

most TPS units are the same anyway, id expect the SR and CA units to be the same. Just to make sure you can put a multimeter on the feed and signal wires on the TPS and check the resistances for each TPS at each extreme of their travel.
If they read the same then just use the SR TPS unit with the SR throttle body

multimeter jess
same resistance then it doesnt care does it one terminal is an idle position switch ie: off or on other terminal is throttle position should be a piece of piss but get it all running right with the stock stuff first then start changing #OOPS# dazza

The SR one looks prettier.. But I agree it might get ugly if something doesn't work.
There are 2 types of signal out of the TPS. 1. idle position, full throttle position (not used) 2. A resistance to tell computer the angle. I'm running autronic SMC and so I only use the resistance one for both functions. You can view topic.
