CA_1200_project Posted on: 2010/3/17 9:39
Hey guys i know this has probably been asked about before but i am getting a maddat tunnel for a CA conversion...
What have ppl done about the heater box removal and getting it passed?
If possible what things have been used and where you have got these from/price. Thanks

12v camping hairdryers. Needs heavy wiring, but stops the need for water to be routed into the cabin.
I've not done it myself, but I'm considering it.

jay car- ebay- aussie dispoals store. they work, not the best but they doo work.

not sure why you need heavy duty wiring- the cigarette plug wiring is ok for them.

they are about $200 for a decent one, hard wiring 2 hair dryers into the ducts would work just as well. plus you could dry your hair if your running late for work in the morning

Thanks for the feed back guys.

ANGE i have thought about the different tunnels but i cant be stuffed finding one and my ute is at the engineers at the moment and he is going to seem weld one in for me.

Hair dryers it is then i think... Will free up some good space in the cabin and tidy up the engine bay...

Thanks again has anyone got a good brand to use or pics of this????
