Hey waz1200, ute looks great. You shore have put some good hours into it already.
How did the maddat trans tunnel fitting go? Looks bulky in that little cabbin and what have you got replacing your heater box? Im a few days off getting this in my ute. Also how hard and time consuming was it shaving the tail gate and welding it right up... You have done a great job i think my ute may get this treatment b4 paint. The maddat engine member looks good. Can you post some pics if how the engine sits and how far off the fire wall. What goes between the engine and the x-member? Thanks mate

its a standard ca18det just refurnished the motor, aka rings bearings. with a t28 sort of lol garret turbo. with a microtech. ca project yer the tunnel is big but worth it, so much easier to get to the bellhousing bolts if and when u need to do a clutch. there is roughly 2 finger space between head and firewall, yes plenty of hours haha got over it for a long time, welded tunnel in both sides then used sealant both sides to keep rain out. im just a motor mechanic not too keen on body work lol so i got a guy doin it for me. he reckons a good 4 to 6 hours, as for the heater im just goin to use a hairdrier cause all u really need is lots of noise and hot or cold air comin out, for a blue slip, but can get a good blueslip done ;) without viewing. as for facebook i tried once addin pics on here it didnt work lol

I'm always keen to see other people's builds and I'm into technology and all this modern age crap, but call me weird, different and the odd one out, but I'm not on face book so I can't logon to see your pic's.
Just Use microsoft paint, it's dead easy Open paint, edit, paste from, select pic, save as (jpeg), check properties (less than 200k file size) may want to use image, stretch/skew to make smaller - then upload that image to website. or type upload pictures in 'search'
