So I was driving around today and I went to go from 4th back to 3rd but I couldn't get outta 4th . Anyway I made it home stuck in 4th luckily I didn't have to stop anywhere .once I got home I turned the car off and had jam it really hard to get outta 4th but after that went another drive and it seems to be fine . It's a stock a12 with a standard 4 speed .
Any help or ideas on what it could be would be aprreciated

The internal shifter fork has probably bent. You might be good for a while now, or it might happen again.

My gearbox locked me out of 1st & 3rd once, after a bit of driving I got frustrated, I lined the gear lever up with 1st gear and whacked it in. This fixed the problem and the box lasted for at least another 6 - 8 months hard driving.

that happend to me, started working again. the got stuck in kinglake. 120ish kayed away in a verry hilly place = no fun

hahanever happened to me but thats cos i rarely drive my piece of $hit
