#1 71 1200 coupe Bolt Pattern ?
kingjer Posted on: 2010/3/26 14:13
Hey all just wondering if anyone could tell me the factory bolt pattern for my 71 1200 ?

And also where i might locate a grill for it ?

What do some of you guys do for front drag suspension ? Here in Canada i have to retain my factory front shock tower and leave it all stock so was wanting some kinda bolt in drag style strut setup.

by bolt pattern you mean the wheel stud pattern

its 4x114.3 pcd
and strut wise if you are upgrading your brakes i would put stanza struts in it or 200b and them you can choose what brakes you run and you can run coil overs

for a grill i would try ebay or a local wrecker or try asking a few members
hope this helps cheers

A surge tank is must for spirited street driving! I only need to use about a quater of a tank in mine before it starts starving. Definetly worth having

In Nissan specification, the wheels are 4 stud on 4.5" centers. Same as all Datsun RWD, toyoda RWD, early mustang 6, Corvair, etc. After conversion to metric that is 114.3 mm

For drag struts, keep the stock suspension. The stock struts and brakes are very lightweight and you can probably fit 80/20 strut inserts.

Surge tank is common with EFI, but not common for straight-line racing with carbs.
