#1 Datsun 1000 1968 troubles
friendlyghost Posted on: 2010/4/25 12:00
Hi,

I have a datsun 1000 b10 from 1968.
I have problems with the fuel mixture.
The carburator is original and the engine is stock.
The engine has been apart and rebuild with new gaskets.
Valves were grinded and the head was rebuild.
It's running to lean lamda 1.2 en co 0.2 %.
I have tried everything but i can't find the problem.
I had the carburaot a few time aprt for cleaning and checking but it didn't solved the problem.
The CO screw don't give any change in fuel mixture
Has any one tips for me.

Thanks
Greetings Caspar

At idle? At 50 kph crusing?

The foundation is to check thoroughly for vacuum leaks.

Well done Caspar, was it the carby seals due to age or the poor quality fuel
thats going into our pumps everyday?
