It can be bought at any Auto store, is more for stopping existing rust from continuing. I was sceptical at first but it does work.

rust remover is better than convertor. The 3M product sucks balls pls dont waste your
money on this scum company that uses less phosphoric acid than the others. At best would be to buy the industrial phosphoric acid its supposedly awesome. Anything under 34% phosphoric acid is not worth it. Some people recommend Naval Gelly in several applications. Ive found letting the solution sit till it turns black then scrubbing it again with fresh solution with a small wire brush or sand paper and watch the rust separate from the metal and dissolve away.

I use K&H rust converter found at autobarn, it seems stronger than the stuff I've found at supercheap. POR15 stomps on everything though if you have the money.

hi, where do you want to use this? different prob can have different selutions. It depents on the amount of rust currently visible. I would hate to c a bud run throu the same prob and expensis I did. If you have little or no knowledge in this area, people will tend to cell you crap if you dont know better. Very good thing you get info!!

+1 for what D said except the sucking balls bit. Also depends on what level of rust you have. On my ute, I had bits flacking off so I cut and welded new sections. In other areas I had surface rust with pitting which I kept applying rust remover and scrub till it all comes out. .
