price of dattos these days disgusts me....

keeps them in good condishion for us has cheap cars = p plate kids = no more dattos

+1 If its an ad for a Datsun you can bet the word rare will be in caps even if its a badge for a 200B. Egay sucks, the recent high prices for the speedway spec gear has done some crazy things to the market as a whole

I bought my 1971 1200 sedan (1 original owner, orig plates) with 6 months rego for $670. After pulling out the house carpet adorning the floor I realised the only rust was from the spray from the wheels, it's almost rust free.

The only catch was I had to V-line it to swan hill, and drive it back (4.5 hours).

So was this a bargain? or what you'ld expect for a car so old?

yeah lowmion that is a steal... up here in QLD nothing is under 5 grand.... VIC is the place to be for dattos.

Personally, for an average condition datsun 1000, bog standard 1000-2000 is about right.
For a mint condition,bog standard 1000 i would expect to pay about 2-3000.

once it has mods, its hard to measure, but for $670 thats a good deal.
