does anybody know which wires are which for the fuel pump/fuel guage on the r31 fuel tank.

Have you got contact details for Kev Rowley as I know he has the info you require.

Hay matey, try this, Kev sent it to me many moons ago

Yellow/Blue - Low fuel light
Yellow - Fuel gauge sender
White/Purple - Positive for fuel pump
2 blacks - Common together & earth

have owned a few 31's over the years, different years came with different colours.

none of this matters very much, whats important is that it has a switched earth, not positive, I'm not 100% certain, but this is done for safety if anything dodgy happens to wiring. never made much sense to me.

Otherwise its a variable speed pumno, it has a signal wire to vary the speed, doesnt hurt to have it full blast all the time, but may reduce pump life.

Good question frank and looks like some positive replies to. Was getting to asking the same question as i am about to fit one to me wagon.

can you post a pic of the R31 tank plus how many litres does it hold?
