Has anyone installed a 86 GTS toyota twin cam rear diff. with disc brakes on their Datsun ? I got one with 430 gears (posi) and was thinking of shaving all the brackets off and installing it to my coupe !!!

Lemonhead or 1200coupe have used that rear axle in their rally car as they have good lsd options, double row wheel bearing , etc.

i have that setup and i love it but it needs some shortening cause im using 0 offset rims but with +45 offset it will fit perfectly and yes you need to cut all the brackets off but its worth it have a look into my album i have some pictures from underneath

yes i think stock 12'' rims will fit perfectly if they look inside of the car whit stock diff.

RE510: my diff its still not shortened but its like 5.5 inches larger than the stock one im going to cut it 6 inches if i can

Jason fitted the GTS engine and transmission to his 1200, but not the diff. He used a 77 Corolla SR5 rear with LSD center.
