Try this:

And then try asking these guys this:

Wade Cams

Crow Cams

Tighe Cams

I'd offer an opinion but I can hardly understand what you are saying.

IMO I think camshaft selection should be based on the intended purpose of the engine. Are you chasing torque or horsepower? With a single 36 dcd weber and I assume essentially std spec internal components, IMO it would be a waste of money and effort to install any camshaft with race type specs. For street use cams that produce strong torque figures are the way to go.

I too could help but have to agree with Clyons advise.
Your location in your details would also help any response.

Vir n nuweling op n forum is jy darem erg voorbarig. Vat dit rustig en vra mooi, soos jou Ma jou geleer het!

What's the specs on your motor? To chase down 1.8i R-lines your gonna need quite a bit of work done to a stock A14? I'd suggest you get hold of a good condition A12 GX head, do a nice port and flow job on it. Run the twin Hitachi's from the A12 with a 268 cam. The combination works very well and won't hamper daily driving.
We made good power with that combination. But as I said, you'll need quite abit more to chase down those R-lines.

ime not new btw i just never used to write enything and jes ime in south africa port elizabeth my brother is in joburg so he can arrange transport from there.i thought of the gx head but that will only push up the compression wich will mean retar on the timing that will lose power so ime gonna port the std head and get only the springs of the gx.i think ime gona go for a 276 but if enyone got eny better ideas let me know

wtf ?

my understanding was that more comp ,means more power ,and changing the timing a little wont drop power ,i doubt you would even change the timing much if any at all

as MHdat has said go for a gx head if you can find one and a set of hitachi carbs ,or if you cant find the head then go for a h89

and would a cam that works well in an A14 work just as good in an A15 ??

and i dont care about it being hard to drive ,its gotta go good first
