#1 motor problem

Hi can anyone help me?just got into my datto started it and sounds like its starving for fuel ,checked the filter and its clean had a friend stand over the carby its getting fuel but keeps on cutting out whats the problem?its an a12.

Could be many different things: air leak, electrical (spark problem) or even the fuel filter (looks cannot tell).

You might perform a fuel pump volume test. It's easy and requires no special tools. See Fuel pump pressure test. The pressure is not as important as the volume.

Is it cutting out only at idle or when reving it?

Have you checked the anti dieselling solonoid? And timing.

there hasnt been a problem drove it about a hr before went to drive it again and then had the problem
