#1 Anyone want to transport a car? Or lend a trailer?
revhead001 Posted on: 2011/4/27 2:31
Is anyone heading to Melbourne from or through Newcastle who would like to pick up a car for me? It's a longshot I know. But I thought I'd ask anyway.

A 120Y. For reasons that I cannot fathom. But 1200's are just too expensive. I would like a reasonable 1200 coupe that is respectable and drivable but without success.

You should never underestimate what goes on in my head at any given moment. The fact is, I am torn. I don't want to let the van go but I want to do the engine conversion on a sedan or coupe. But finding one for the right price is not an easy task to undertake. Not when I want something running that I can drive and get club reg on. But I digress. At the moment I have so much going on that a full scale project is a bit much to take on. I want to drive and enjoy. All i want is the best of both worlds.

Got my first quote today. %675. Can't afford it. I need to try another avenue.

I reckon it would cost me around $250 to $300 in fuel, plus food and accommodation if I went that route. At least if I did it that way I could grab the spare engine and extra's. And then there's the trailer. I'd need to rent or borrow a trailer. If I rent one it would cost a bit.
