60's series 5 speed

bugger all, ok for a stock streeter cruiser car, no spirited driving. they dont last.

pretty sure you'll have no worries getting 800+ but you have to find someone to buy it.
from my understanding the 56a 5spd is the weak gearbox and the 60a the stonger of the 2?? correct me if im wrong but pretty sure thats what i've read

yep, 60 is stronger than 56 but still not bulletproof.
Mind you it all depends on how you treat it, with a hamfisted mug doing the shifting, nothing will last.. bit of mechanical sympathy, make sure the clutch and synchros are in good nick and it will handle just about all a-series..

is it hard to find a 5speed in good condition? i would like one but people want a bit of money for them.
