Surely you exaggerate. $500 for a common Datsun 1200 tachometer.
At least he didn't say it was a "GX" tachometer, which are slightly different.

theres another 2 on ebay at the moment, and one sold the other day im pretty sure....super rare

Good luck to him I sold the one I had for $50. Maybe I should have held out longer
