Anyone know of any worked a12 projects done or for sale? i have just rebuilt mine and i had a piston chip and score the bore pretty badly. so basically im thinking of buying another 12 black, and possibly boring it too put flat top pistons in it with an a14 head. i was also wondering what this operation would cost...

I have a a12 in melbourne it is a short motor with a mild wade cam. It has new rings,big end & main bearings 300 bucks would do for it I have a head as well but I dont know what its like.

ok so as im still learning... what would be the chance of boring the a12 out to 1300-1350cc and stroking it? has anyone done this before? possibly with a single weber, otherwise standard a12 carby (i believe the jetting on the a12 carb is bigger than the a14, is this just rubbish or the truth?).

look up dodgemans sneaky a12 a14 hybrid its a common thing to use an a14 with counterweights machined to miss the vitals and use later a12 conrods and milled a15 pistons or others.
