READ THIS:just so everyone is aware.
i bought the heater box thinking it was completly electric.
wrong
it just runs off 12v like your existing one
and uses the same heater hoses
its just smaller
misleading information made me buy it and then got it and thought .
da fuq.
gutted my original box and used a 12v heat gun inside.

Thanks for your honesty and explanation as it would have been 2 people the brought this product and been pissd off and a little misled!

Looks like a hair dryer or heat gun is the way il have to go as well. I dont want any heater/water running into cab either.

ANy links to where you got the heat gun from, and how good does it work?

Also - do you have any late (post 74 or so) ute tension rods (aka castor bars) - the ones with the groove in between the bolt holes to clear the bolt head spacing on later ball joints?
