#1 TRX bluebird rims
maddatter1 Posted on: 2012/9/12 9:25
i was told 15x6 trx rims will fit a stock standard 1200,
i tried my rims on both the back and front, the back fit fine but the fronts hit the suspension struts,
any info on how to rectify this issue would be great
thanks

you need low profile tyres to get them on the front something like 185/50/15 i think 55 is the highest profile you can fit on the front

""i was told 15x6 trx rims will fit a stock standard 1200.....any info on how to rectify this issue would be great

Not been nasty but most long time datsun owners would say you can rectify the issue by chucking them on a bluebird trx or metal recycling. The fact is a retro 1200 deserves something more suitable than 80s/90s tackarama wheel and why our American datsun friends laugh at "ADM"

You can buy the cheapest Otomoto wheels or something cheaper on one of the forums and do your ride justice and save money by using a better suited tyre like a 185/60/14 etc

eg.
