having issues lining my new gaurds up, pointers?

Bottom line is that Taiwan guards from some places are badly made.
They are too long and the mounting tabs are in the wrong places. I recommend seeing if the supplier will let you swap them, or consider a different supplier. Buying from nissan gives you much better chance of getting reasonable ones, but they aren't always perfect these days either.

Every after market panel I have brought was from Tony at muscle car parts... Almost every panel has had some form of modifying.... Not because his parts are bad in any way but it's after market!! I have sent a number of parts back to him for new ones or money back... Great service!! Maybe take them to a panel beater...
