Cigarette lighter in my 1200 ute doesn't work so bought a new one for it but cant find the correct wire. There's two blue wires near where the old cigarette lighter was but neither seem to make the new lighter work?
Any hints/ tips?

Hint, go back to the shop and buy yourself a test light, it will solve all your problems and you will use it all the time.
Tip, check the fuse.

Tip: stop smoking and your troubles will be over.
If it doesn't work, you probably have no power at the wire. Check your Fuse Box. It is indeed a Blue wire.

If you are blowing fuses all the time then it could be shorting out
the body outside of the lighter acts as the earth (the bit that holds it in place by screwing around the rest of it) oh no! unfamilia is going to use this line. anyway the live wire is the only wiring to the lighter and if it touches the side then you will short out and blow another fuse it is easy to do twisting it into place You can view topic.
