This stuff is absolutely amazing. And in reality a relatively basic but brilliant idea.
Anyone had much to do with them? Immersion Imaging

Haven't heard of that mob before, but hydro graphics or hydro dipping has been around for quite some years. It's actually used by some of the car manufacturers for wood grain dashes and stuff.
The good thing is you can actually buy kits to do it yourself at home....just need a decent tub of water the patterned film and the activator. Clean it off and spray some clear to seal it. Search it on youtube and you'll see plenty of backyarders getting great results. I did find someone in oz selling kits for about $130....Aussie dip kits I think they were called.

Immersion Imaging - top quality stuff, seen and have some of his work.
All stuff Painted after with a 2k clear finish. He's also a top car painter as well and does wild custom paint and hand Pinstriping. He painted all Russel Ingals helmets for this season, and Jonathan Webbs gear. Last time I was at his shop he was repainting a Jaguar SS100. Work can also be sent to Sanitora Worksas they are an agent for Immersion Imaging. You can view topic.
