#1 A Series Fuel Injection
clyons8 Posted on: 2013/8/26 7:36
I have a few questions for the more knowledgable and experienced.

I am running a quad throttle body, megasquirt powered setup and am at the fuel supply stage;

Do I require a fuel filter on both sides of my pump?

What fuel pressure should I run at?

Have you any advice on the fuel return line? I was going to plumb it back into the filler neck, is this an acceptable format?

Its very hot and humid here, should I be worried about the fuel warming up too much as it cycles through the supply and return?

Cheers.

Chris

Hey chris,
I'd return it to the bottom of the tanks, less likely to leak. Standard fuel pressure is 3 bar. The tune I think was on 4 bar but that can change. Wouldn't worry about fuel temp. I'd run a low pressure filer pre and high pressure post.

Sounds like a sick setup! :)

Haha, just the man. It's your old setup. I've converted it to coil on plug, and have stumbled a bit on the fuel supply.

You have an email address that you use regularly? I have some questions about the wiring too.
