Heater/Demister legality

Hi guys I know u need a heater for road worthy but is that just a heater or does it have to demist to,or one or the other.

I know you have to have a demister for roadworthy, I got one the same as the demister on the Maddat site.
I have heard of some guys using fan out of desktop computers mounted under the dash, but they wouldn't obviously produce any heat.

You can get 12v hairdryers or heaters. I used one in my sedan but they dont do much really. But it passes just. Especially if fitted to the stock heater switch.

Thats cause I only had one on drivers side. Never got round to passengers one lol.

If anyone is after one i have a brand new genuine fan and motor for the 1200 in box still as well

Yep it's not so much the heater it's a dimister you need.if you do everything you say your gunna do I really think having no dimister is the least of your worrys
