Hi all I have an issue with no dash lights was like this when I bought car .
All Parker's tail lights etc work fine warning lights gauges work fine . Just no dash lights ? So far I have changed harness while I was changing engine also changed light switch and have changed cluster and replaced every bulb with new bulbs Any ideas would be great I am out off them It must be earthed as other lights are working Are these negative switching ?

May be coroded plug or internally cracked wire into daah plug. Also could be broken teack in the curcuit board on back of instruments.
Can you try 12v to the cuirct board tracking? I had issues with my old coupe. I jambed a wire from the first light to the 2nd bulb as the track was damaged.

Warning lights and gauges are not earthed via dash.
When checking the dash illumination lights, cluster must be earthed by bolting to the dash frame. For AUS-spec 1200s, twist the light switch bulb. This bright/dim function may be broken. Also see http://datsun1200.com/modules/mediawi ... oubleshooting_Dash_Lights You can view topic.
