#1 Front shock absorbers needed for 120y
tomo_7772 Posted on: 2014/4/20 7:41
Hi,
I have a 1977 Datsun 120y. I'm looking for 1 or 2 front shock absorbers that are in good condition around the Melbourne area.
Thanks.

Depends on what's inside your strut? Are the wet shocks or gas shocks

Or are they non-gas inserts?

Just been trying to find any info on how to rebuild original wet shocks. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers.

Hi There,
I've got to pull them out. I'll get back to you.
Thanks

To rebuild the front shocks, remove the big nut, drain the oil out then put new oil in. Most repair manuals say how to do it.
