For sale: 1980 Sunny Coupe

Item Condition: A12, 4 speed. One owner last 20 years

Price and price conditions: Around $500, Old mate would like as much as he can get but I get the feeling if the offers are to low he will just call the scrappers and get it taken away

Extra Info: I met the owner of this car at the supermarket a while ago when I was driving one of my Datto's, the car is getting a bit tired and he was about to replace it and asked if I was interested in buying it. I went over the car today and it is reasonably good but will need work. It has rust in the LHR quarter, LHF chassis rail where it meets the radiator support and a little bit in the doors and RH sill. It has a dent in the RHR quarter.
Both bumpers are bent but could most likely be straightened
The engine seems to run well but it appears to have a leaking rocker cover gasket that has wept oil all over the engine. The car is still registered till the 19/12/14. Carpet will need replacing and the drivers seat is torn. The rest of the interior is OK.
Would probably make a good race/rally/project car with a bit of TLC or could be restored to it's original glory with body repairs and a respray. It will not pass a rwc due to the rust and oil leaks.
It is brown with a tan cloth interior.
The owner was not keen on advertising it (he is a bit of a character) but does not really want to see it go to the scrapppers. At the same time he made it clear that he really is not interested in tyre kickers

I know this is a bit of a strange ad but I would like to see this car saved, or at least provide the parts to put another Sunny coupe back on the road.
Sunny Coupes have all but disappeared and it would be a real pity to see another one recycled in to a Kia

I hope it sells as the last one I saw didnt have running gear but was a good body with little rust

I'm new here and have been in the market for a b310 for quite some time. There are a few here and there, but oft too pricey for their own good. This seems quite right!!!
